    "Moths" is a series of photographs depicting moths flying at night. By using a slow shutter speed and other photographic techniques I am able to create images reminiscent of abstract expressionist paintings. One of the many things I like about photography is the camera's ability to "see" things our eyes can't - especially in regards to time. As the moths fly, they create beautiful patterns and forms we are usually unable to see. Sometimes these unseen patterns echo other patterns found in nature such as plants, skeletal structures and aquatic forms. I find this interesting. speed and other photographic techniques I am able to create images reminiscent of abstract expressionist paintings.
